The Bible and words of encouragement to start the day

The word of God expressed in the Bible always gives us strength and encouragement to face a new day and we can trust them to get the necessary push to lead a day full of blessings and satisfaction.

We have been taught that God himself will always be with us and will walk before us, indicating the right path; if we comply with his commands, he will never abandon us, therefore we should not fear or be discouraged by difficulties ( Deuteronomy 31: 8 ).

Below are seven Good ways to start a new Day

Prayers for Positive Energy

1. Think of good things

Finally, brothers, consider well everything true, everything respectable, everything just, everything pure, everything lovely, everything worthy of admiration, in short, everything that is excellent or deserves praise.
(Philippians 4:8)

Our thoughts greatly influence the way we feel and how we view the situations we face. Start your morning thinking about all the good things in your life and you will see how your perspective changes in the face of the challenges that await you. Only with that, you will have a better day!

2. Remember the mercies of God

The great love of the Lord never ends, and his compassion never runs out. Every morning his goodness is renewed; Very great is his fidelity!
(Lamentations 3:22-23)

Every morning the mercies that the Lord has for you are renewed. And it is thanks to his great love that you are alive on this day. Remember to thank him for the new day and trust in God’s faithfulness.

3. Thank God

Praise, my soul, the Lord; Praise all my being the holy name of him. Praise, my soul, the Lord, and do not forget any of his benefits.
(Psalm 103:1-2)

Remember to thank God for all the good things you remember. There are so many blessings that God gives us! Make it a point to thank God for at least five things each day. Develop an attitude of gratitude towards your Creator and you will see how you will feel more prepared to face the day.

4. Give your day to God

Commit your way to the Lord; trust him, and he will act.
(Psalm 37:5)

For your day to start off well, it is best to place everything in the hands of the one who can do all things. Trust in God and he will help you overcome today.

5. Ask for God’s help

In the morning, Lord, you hear my cry; In the morning I present my prayers to you, and I await your response.
(Psalm 5:3)

If you are worried or discouraged about something, tell God about it! He, like all loving fathers, loves to listen to his children, help them and encourage them. Spend time with God each morning, tell him your plans for that day, and be attentive to his direction and care.

6. Organize your day

Well thought out plans: pure profit! Hasty plans: pure failure!
(Proverbs 21:5)

Spending a few minutes organizing your priorities for the day is time well spent. Write down in an agenda the things you need to do according to priority, and rehearse in your mind the moments in which you think you could include them. Also try to leave some empty spaces to rest, replenish your strength or give rise to unforeseen events.

7. Dedicate your plans to the Lord

In conclusion, whether you eat or drink or do anything else, do it all for the glory of God.
(1 Corinthians 10:31)

Doing a good job is a way to praise God. Decide to give your best today and do it for the glory of God. You will see that your attitude improves towards daily tasks when you do everything so that Christ may be glorified.

8. Pleases God in everything

The Lord affirms the steps of man when he likes his way of living; he may stumble, but he will not fall, for the Lord holds his hand.
(Psalm 37:23-24)

Always move within what you know pleases the Lord. Make decisions that glorify him. But remember that even if you ever fail, he will never leave you. He holds you up and helps you get up and go on your way to his glory and honor. Always trust that he loves you and cares for you!
