Spread the love

Giving thanks to God is scriptural and beneficial, on this article are bible verses about being thankful for the little things and everything.

Thanksgiving is all that one does, said in gratitude for a favor (or a grace) that one has received from God. Thanksgiving comes from the ability to recognize, to discern what God has done for us. Thanksgiving flows from the revelation we have of what God has done for us. Conversely, murmurings are a sign of spiritual blindness.

We can give thanks to God by words, and songs of praise but also by the offerings we make to Him.

There is immense power in thanksgiving, in gratitude.

In this article, we share with you 30 biblical passages on the importance of thanksgiving.

30 Bible verse on thanks to God for everything

Why should we develop the habit of constantly giving thanks to God?

The creatures in heaven give thanks to God

Thanksgiving is part of the culture of the kingdom of God. It saturates the atmosphere in which God dwells, as the biblical passages below show us. In these verses, the apostle John describes to us what he saw in heaven and exposes us to a powerful secret concerning the environment that surrounds the God we worship.

The atmosphere of glory that surrounds our God is charged with thanksgiving.

Revelation 4:9-11
When living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders bow down to him who sits on the throne, and they worship him who lives forever and ever, and they throw down their crowns before the throne, saying, Worthy art thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for you created all things, and it is by your will that they exist and were created.

Revelation 7:11-12
And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne, and worshiped God, saying, Amen! Praise, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and strength, be to our God forever and ever! Amen!

Beloved, when you give thanks to God, you release the atmosphere of heaven around you.

If you want the atmosphere of glory, the glory of God’s presence to be with you all the time, banish complaining and murmuring. Abound in thanksgiving!
