Below are my own experiences that God has used to wake me up to pray.
God sent an angel to my room to wake me up.
Once, a few minutes before midnight, I woke up to pray, but I was sleepy and went back to bed before prayers.
As I dozed, I felt someone quickly remove the blanket and sheets from my body! I quickly woke up and began an aggressive prayer.
Loud horn of a passing truck.
I was sleeping one night and was suddenly awakened by the horn of a large truck that was passing near our house.
When I woke up, it was a few minutes to midnight, my prayer time.
Knocking on the door.
I was sleeping one night and a slammed door in our house woke me up. It was our daughter closing the door to the girls’ bathroom.
When I looked at my watch, it was just a few minutes to midnight, my prayer time.

Terrifying dream
I was sleeping one night and had a terrifying dream. In this dream, something was about to hit me, and I suddenly woke up.

A converting spouse.
I was sleeping one night when my wife’s hand that was turning her head woke me up.

An SMS on my mobile phone.
I was fast asleep one night when I was awakened by an SMS sound on my phone that I had placed near my bed.
When I looked at my watch, it was just a few minutes to midnight, my prayer time.
I was in a deep sleep when I had a choking sensation and coughed (I had no cough at all, however).

Bird noise.
One night I was sleeping soundly when I was awakened by a singing bird in a tree near our room.
When I looked at the clock, it was only a few minutes to 3:00 am, my prayer time.
Wind.
While sleeping one quiet night, I was suddenly awakened by files falling in my room.
They had been blown away by a strong wind blowing through the fans in my room.
When I looked at my wall clock, it was a few minutes to 3:00 am, my prayer time.
Escaping in a dream.
Many times I wake up while running away or running in my sleep. When I look at the clock, my prayer time is a few minutes away.
