Nowadays, saying and recognizing oneself as a Christian is simply recognizing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, which is very important because the word of God establishes that we must confess with our lips and recognize in our hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord in order to be saved.

“Because with the heart one believes for justice, and with the mouth one confesses for salvation” Romans 10:10

Similarly, Jesus himself assured that whoever denies God, God will deny him, so recognizing oneself as a Christian is a beautiful personal act of recognizing Jesus Christ.

Currently, there are many denominations or various religions whose root is Christianity, however, the most important thing is to recognize our Lord, believe in the word and in the power of the Holy Spirit our comforter, and the power of God at our disposal.

When did we start being Christians?

We begin to be Christians when we believe in Christ and feel proud and identified with the Christian faith.

It is noteworthy that the Catholic religion has spread and has nominally established that all people are Catholic, Apostolic, Roman, and Christian, however, being a Christian is more than just a name, it is a meaning of life.

On the other hand, in the spirit world, when we receive Christ into our hearts and confess with our lips that God raised him from the dead, we not only become saved but we are also sealed by the Holy Spirit and set apart as children of God.

Therefore, that is the moment in which in the spiritual world we really become Christians, understanding that, as the Word says, if anyone is in Him, he must walk as he walked.

The fruit of the Spirit is manifest in him.

Logically, no orange tree will give you strawberries, because the fruits are related to the type of tree, and if a person calls himself a Christian, the Fruit of the Spirit should be manifest in him, which is nothing more than a series of Christian virtues that allows people to have self-control and live in community and holiness

.

Instead, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience ,

Kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.

There is no law that condemns these things”.
