Thank you, Lord, for another day

Dear Lord, thank you so much for another day of life on Earth. Thank you for another beautiful sunrise to enjoy. Thank you for the wonderful sounds of nature, from the cool breeze brushing through the trees to the birds singing melodies. You are a wonderful God, full of grace and mercy. I praise you for allowing me another day to spend with my family. I love you, Father! Amen.

First and foremost, let’s not forget to thank the Lord for yet another day, for yet another opportunity to live. The Lord gave us life and the chance to live, to be with our loved ones, and to live a happy life here on Earth. Thank Him for the beautiful sun and the trees. Thank Him for being able to live another day to see His beautiful creations.

Prayer for Strength

Dear Lord, I don’t know who or what will cross my path today. But I do know that You are my Rock and my Fortress. You are my Shield and my Strong Tower. Help me to anchor myself to You today. Teach me how to stand strong in You and choose only Your way today. Help me walk by Your truth and not my feelings. Help me to embrace anything that comes my way as an opportunity to see You at work and as an opportunity to point others to You. Amen.

If you’re going through something, ask God for strength the moment you wake up. If you have an important presentation that day or will have to make a tough decision, ask God to be with you early on. Not only will this give you confidence, but you’ll also feel better knowing that God is by your side.

Prayer for Guidance

Lord, I pray you would move the Spirit more boldly in my life. I know that any sin can grieve and diminish the voice of the Spirit, and I pray against the temptation to sin. Help me crave your presence more than I crave sin. Help me grow in the fruit of the Spirit and so walk closer with Yourself. I pray for guidance from your Spirit- let your will and promises always be a meditation of my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

There’s no shame in asking for the Lord’s help every morning. Why it is the best time of the day to seek Christ. God always wants to guide us to righteousness. The Bible is our helper in doing that. Know that He loves you and only wants what’s best for you. Pray for guidance if you think you need it that day.

Prayer for Family

Dear Gracious Father, I praise You for my family. Thank you for my spouse. Even in his/her weaknesses, I love him/her unconditionally. Thank you for my children. Every time I hear the pitter-patter of their feet across the house I smile. Joy overwhelms me, Father! Be with my family today as they go their separate ways. Bring us all back home safely to each other I pray. Amen.

There’s no better time to pray for your family than the morning before everyone goes their separate ways. Pray for your family’s safety and that each member will have a productive and joyful day ahead.

Prayer Of Contentment

Dear Glorious Father, I pray that I will stay focused on you today. I pray that You will constantly remind me to be content in all of my circumstances. I pray that You will fill me up that I may be joyful all day, even if stress creeps in. I know that through my contentment, You will be glorified. I want to honour You, Father, in all that I do. I praise Your Holy Name! Amen.

One of the most important prayers to fuel you for the new day is the contentment prayer. Pray that in whatever you do, you will find contentment. Pray that the Lord fills your heart so you won’t feel the need to look elsewhere. Pray that you keep your focus on God, so your heart will easily be contented.

I love seeing the sunrise. For me, it means the start of a new day ad it reminds me that I’m blessed to be able to see it again. Morning is a great time to do your daily devotions and prayers. God will inspire you and empower you to be ready for whatever lies ahead.
