The mysteries of the Bible are varied and it is necessary for all the children of God to know it since the study of the Holy Scriptures is vital to be able to know all the promises and mandates that God has left to believers.

There are a variety of mysteries that can be obtained in the Holy Scriptures, however, there are 14 that are the most important that must be scrutinized by all believers, and ask the Holy Spirit for his revelation to know the will of God in their lives.

1. The Mystery of the Parables

The mystery is hidden through each of the parables presented by Jesus.
That allows believers to be taught about the kingdom of heaven, and the true path that God wants each of his children to take.

(Mark 4:10-12) When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside, everything is said in parables, so that, “‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise, they might turn and be forgiven ” (Mark 4:10-12).

2. The Mystery of the Arrival of Christ

3. The Mystery of the Future Restoration

(Romans 11:25-27)  I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way, all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

“The deliverer will come from Zion;
    he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
And this is my covenant with them
    when I take away their sins ” (Romans 11:25-27)

4. The Mystery of the Transformation of the Believer

The mystery of the transformation that all the living will experience, at the sound of the trumpet.

(1Corinthians 15:51-54) Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory (1 Cor. 15:51-54)

5. The Mystery of the Will

The mystery that will give knowledge about the will, in the lives of believers to obtain salvation.

(Ephesians 1:9-10) he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.” (Ephesians 1:9-10).

The mystery speaks about Christ and the church, where the fulfillment of the experiential order on earth is taught.

(Ephesians 5:29-32) After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church” (Ephesians 5:29-32).

 

7. The Mystery of Faith

The mystery explains the faith, where all believers must remain in a systematic spiritual growth, in order to build the church of the Lord.

(1st Timothy 3:9)

“That they keep the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience” (1 Timothy 3:9)

8. The Mystery of the Gospel

The mystery that teaches about the gospel that has been spread through courage, is to impart the word of God in the correct way.

(Ephesians 6:19)

“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,” (Ephesians 6:19).

9. The Mystery of the revelation of Christ

The mystery of the revelation of Jesus Christ to all the Gentiles, to give them the hope of the glory of the Lord, who brings salvation to all sinners.

(Colossians 1:27)“The mystery that had been hidden from centuries and ages, but that has now been revealed to his saints, whom God wanted to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

10. The Mystery of Piety

The mystery speaks about piety, which is the demonstration of God’s love for all humanity and being able to fulfill that plan that allows all sinners to be saved.

(1st Timothy 3:16) “And without question, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (1 Timothy 3:16).

 

11. The Mystery of the seven stars and the candlesticks

The hidden mysteries of the seven stars and the seven golden candlesticks, which teach about the types of believers, who in later times will be judged by God.

(Revelation 1:20) “The mystery of the seven stars that you have seen in my right hand, and of the seven golden candlesticks.

13. The Mystery of Iniquity

(2Thessalonians 2:7-10) The secret power of lawlessness is already at work, but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. ” (2nd Thessalonians 2:7-10)

14. The Mystery of the Woman and the Beast

The mystery found in the book of Revelation talks about the woman and the beast, who will seek to contend against the Lamb.

(Revelation 17:7-14) And the angel said to me: Why are you amazed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that brings her, which has seven heads and ten horns. The beast that you have seen was, and is not, and is about to rise from the abyss and go to perdition…

…They will fight against the Lamb, and the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings: and those who are with him are called and chosen, and faithful” (Revelation 17:7-14)
