What’s the Trinity.
The word trinity comes from “tri” meaning three and “unity” meaning one.
This means that God is three different individuals who work as one. God the Father, the son Jesus Christ and the holy spirit.
The word “Trinity” is never used in the Bible. But repeatedly, by inference in the Old Testament and in plain words in the New Testament, the Bible affirms that three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—are co-equal, co-eternal personalities of the one and only God the universe.
For instance, in Genesis 1:2, God the Spirit brings the life of the universe into being, and also, in Genesis 1:26 when God decides to create human beings, He says, “Let us make…” Who was he talking to? This clearly shows God was talking to Himself.
Jesus also addressing his disciples in Matthew 28:19, he said, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
This shows that Jesus was putting Himself and the Holy Spirit on the same level as God the Father.
The Gospels teach us that Jesus makes a point of placing Himself on the same level with God the Father many times.
“Before Abraham was, I am [Yahweh],” He says in John 8:58. He says in John 10:30 “I and the Father are one,”. “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father,” He claims in John 14:9.
Meanwhile, Jesus didn’t say that there are two or three Gods over the universe. Like His fellow Jews, Jesus affirmed the truth of Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.”
So, without the word trinity, the Bible affirms that God is one God in three persons.

What is the difference between the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit?
The Athanasian Creed on the doctrine of the trinity, has it that God the Father is
uncreated, the Son is uncreated, and the Holy Spirit is uncreated, and all three are eternal without beginning.
You’ll agree with me that God was the Beginning and himself is still going to be the end.
So, The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are not named for separate parts of God, but one name for God because the three persons coexist in God as one entity.
Who is the Holy Spirit in the Trinity?
The holy spirit is the third person of the trinity. Though this varies for the majority Christian churches/ domination. But scripturally, the Holy is the Triune God manifested as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each entity itself being God.

16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
30 I and the Father are one.” 31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him,
32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’?
35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside
36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son?
