What does the Bible say about minding your own business? Christians are told in the Bible not to meddle in other people’s affairs but rather to focus on their own. These verses have nothing to do with disciplining someone disobedient to God, but they say to cease being nosy.
Don’t provide your opinion on things that don’t concern you. It merely exacerbates the situation. Many individuals want to know about your company not because they want to help, but because they want to know about it and have something to talk about. When you’ve made up your decision to follow Christ, you won’t have time to interfere in other people’s affairs.

1. Proverbs 26:17
Interfering in someone else’s argument is as foolish as yanking a dog’s ears.
2. 1 Thessalonians 4:10-12
Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more. Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.
3. 2 Thessalonians 3:11-13
We hear that some of you are living in idleness. You are not busy working —you are busy interfering in other people’s lives! We order and encourage such people by the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, to do their work quietly and earn their own living. Brothers, do not get tired of doing what is right.
4. 1 Peter 4:15-16
If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!
5. Exodus 23:1-2
“You must not pass along false rumors. You must not cooperate with evil people by lying on the witness stand. “You must not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you are called to testify in a dispute, do not be swayed by the masses to twist justice.

Examples
9. John 21:15-23
When they had finished breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” Peter told him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus told him, “Feed my lambs.”
Then he asked him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter told him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus told him, “Take care of my sheep.” He asked him a third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was deeply hurt that he had asked him a third time, “Do you love me?” So he told him, “Lord, you know everything.
You know that I love you!” Jesus told him, “Feed my sheep. “Truly, I tell you emphatically, when you were young, you would fasten your belt and go wherever you liked. But when you get old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten your belt and take you where you don’t want to go.” Now he said this to show by what kind of death he would glorify God. After saying this, Jesus told him, “Keep following me.” Peter turned around and noticed the disciple whom Jesus kept loving following them.
He was the one who had put his head on Jesus’ chest at the supper and had asked, “Lord, who is the one who is going to betray you?” When Peter saw him, he said, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus told him, “If it’s my will for him to remain until I come back, how does that concern you?
You must keep following me!” So the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple wasn’t going to die. Yet Jesus didn’t say to Peter that he wasn’t going to die, but, “If it’s my will for him to remain until I come back, how does that concern you?”
10. 1 Timothy 5:12-14
They receive condemnation because they have set aside their prior commitment to the Messiah. At the same time, they also learn how to be lazy while going from house to house. Not only this, but they even become gossip and keep busy by interfering in other people’s lives, saying things they should not say. Therefore, I want younger widows to remarry, have children, manage their homes, and not give the enemy any chance to ridicule them.
