What is this life of a true Christian like, this is one of the most commonly asked questions, could this be your question also? find out what the life of a true Christian is like.

A story was shared about a homeless man who had not eaten for many days.
More days than usual. The indigent had no strength to continue for lack of food. One day, on the verge of fainting and about to lose his life, he spotted an apple in the distance.
Using what little energy he had left, he decided to get as close as he could towards the fruit,  As he advanced, he was thinking about the benefit of eating that fruit, he would have the strength to continue looking for more food and, above all, that day would not be the last.

The indigent knew that by eating that fruit he would survive. he was sure of that, he knew it.
He managed to get closer to the fruit, he had it within reach, he was convinced that if he ate it would be his salvation and in the end, that was the last day of the homeless man.

Is not enough to know that the Lord performs miracles, nor that He can change lives, it must be put into practice and be a lifestyle for those who know Him. The homeless man had faith that the food would save him, however, he did not take it and therefore did not eat it. That was his last day.

How is your spiritual life?

“i charge you before god and the lord jesus christ and his chosen angels,  keep these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality” 1 Tim. 5:21.

Have you ever bought a car without seeing it? Hardly, right? But many have accepted a “salvation” that will not really “save” them from hell. Don’t get me wrong, I mean that even though you have decided to accept the Lord in your heart as your Savior, you may be living an alternate life to the one that God expects. Instead of being on the path that leads to heaven, you are “paving” your own path to the place where no one wants to go: hell.
A car may look nice, but if it doesn’t cross-town, you won’t trust it to cross the country. In the same way, if your walk with God is not a reality, you are wasting your time and you will be further and further away from having a life in eternity.

Do you remember, or perhaps it has happened to you recently that, at school, the teacher came to the classroom with the news that he was going to give a pop quiz (I don’t think I was the only one this happened to) ). How did you feel at the time you heard the news? At the same time, the Lord asks you not to stay where you are. The Lord challenges you to examine yourself to see how well you are walking with Him. Paul says,  “Examine yourselves whether you are in the faith; try yourselves. Or do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you unless you are reprobate? (2 Cor.13:5).

Christianity is more a matter of the heart than of the head; it is maturity of the heart more than of knowledge

The power and person of Jesus Christ are in you; to believe in Him is to progressively become like Him. As it is written: “…as he is, so are we in this world” (1 Jn 4:17). If in the life you live, you believe that the Kingdom of God does not really work or that sin does not get you into trouble, something is seriously wrong in your concept of truth. Christianity is more a matter of the heart than of the head; it is the maturity of the heart rather than of knowledge.

3 exam questions for life

First:  Is the faith you live ineffective? Ask yourself if your prayers are being answered and if your life is becoming like Christ’s.

Second: are things not working for you? why isn’t it working? Maybe it does work, but… could it be that you are lazy? Maybe you need to turn off the television and take time to seek the Lord. Either way, you need to find out why things aren’t working for you.

Third: If you see that others advance in their walk with the Lord and go from victory to victory, but you do not, ask yourself: How did he/she receive that grace from God? If so, do not be afraid or ashamed to sit down with your leader and talk with him so that he can help you find the path you must follow to grow with the Lord. The word tells you: “Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet, he will receive a prophet’s reward; and he who welcomes a righteous man, because he is righteous, will receive a righteous man’s reward” (Mt. 10:41).

God gives “rewards” of prophecy, knowledge, and other spiritual gifts to his servants. Learn from those whose faith is working. The final test of all faith is to see the kind of life it produces. As it is written: “But whoever keeps his word, in him the love of God is perfected; by this, we know that we are in it. He who says he abides in him must walk as He walked” (1 Jn 2:5-6).  Keep going, because a persistent walk with Christ produces life like His.

How to live a life full of victories?

The only way to live a life like the one the Lord wants you to have is by knowing the truth. You must seek God and be willing to obey him. In Matthew 24:4,5,11,23-24,26, Jesus warns us five times against deception in the end times. If you are not worried about these warnings you should be. We all have areas that need to be corrected. Unless you are corrected or seek God, your faith will actually be a delusion regarding the things of the Lord. You must accept many things by faith, but, do not be confused, faith is not blindly taking the hand of another blind man to be guided, but taking the hand of the one who gave his life for you and me. True faith bears the seal of God’s power.

Do not be confused, the Lord demands us to be an example

unless you reach spiritual maturity, immaturity will shape your perceptions of God.

Always remember this: Being false is natural to the human heart, but becoming true requires a lot of effort. Unless you reach spiritual maturity, immaturity will shape your perceptions of God. Immaturity can make you believe that the Lord no longer asks for holiness, but this is not true, because you would be compromising the standards of the Kingdom of God. Don’t look where there isn’t. You must be sure that the moment you stop obeying God, you start counterfeiting Christianity. There are no courses of Jesus Christ I and II, or Advanced Holiness that with an exam you can present yourself before the Lord or start now an exemplary life. No! Knowing God is an eye-opening experience taken from the hand of Jesus Christ. This exemplary life begins when you make your decision to follow Christ and walk, step by step, with Him.

Do not be fooled, live true Christianity, your eternal salvation really depends on this. If Christ is in you, you must live a holy, exemplary, and powerful life. There are no excuses if you are not holy, or if the power of God is not in your life, do not blame Him; “…let God be true, and every man a liar” (Rom. 3:4). Seek God until you find him and he can transform you. So the Lord can do in your life what he has planned.

Until when or how long must we be in His presence? Until you can say like Simeon the elder:  “Now, Lord, you send your servant away in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation” (Luke 2:29-30). So don’t settle. Seek the Lord more. Live the life that God has for you. Don’t get confused trying to make sense of the things of God. You must have faith and take yourself by the hand of God. Examine yourself. Find what you need to achieve the victory that the Lord has for your life. Do not stay there, take that step that is needed. Hold on to the Lord, He is the only one who will not fail you.
