Man for years and in different cultures has worshipped non-existent gods, forgetting the design/likeness of the True God who created us. From this point, we dare to justify a series of questions that will lead us to a central idea, or to the truth that will allow us to live in Christ and his word in a more evocative way and without denying his presence in our hearts.
Who is the true god? We are wondering. And here we answer them.
The true name of God
First, we must object to and elucidate what is the true name of God. How to call him?
In the sacred scriptures, there are many ways of naming our Lord: Almighty God”, “Most High”, “Magnificent Creator”, “Magnificent Instructor”, “Sovereign Lord” and “King of eternity”. But, a single name is repeated seven thousand times in the Holy Scriptures and according to experts it was written with four consonants YHWH, and although they cannot be sure, they estimate that its pronunciation was Yahweh. While for Spanish the Jehovah form was adopted, which in many languages has been widely accepted. And therefore, now, we know him in this way.
In this context, we see that dialogue in which God appeared to Moses and said: “This is what you are to say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob has sent me to you.’ This is my name to time indefinite, and this is the memory of me to generation after generation” ( Exodus 3:15 ). This is then the way we will call God, according to his own designs. A name that defines him in all his greatness.
Jehovah is a Hebrew verb that translates to “become.” What defines us is that only He is able to do to “Become”. Therefore a God of purpose. The only one who can carry out and achieve everything that he sets out to do, something that man cannot obtain.
Along the same lines, we find the following verse: “Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city and spend a year there, do business and make a profit.’ 14 “when you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. + Because they are a mist that appears for a little while and then disappears. ” ( James 4:13, 14 .). On the other hand, we find that only Jehovah can say: “So my word that proceeds from my mouth will prove to be […] it will be sure of success in that for which I have sent it” ( Isaiah 55:11 .).
We then have a first clarified question, and in this way, we can continue until we achieve discernment.
Jehovah is the only true God
As we have been saying, for many years man worshipped other gods, without knowing that there was only one king to whom they owed all the glory. We find in the Holy Scriptures that He himself determines that he is only one when he sent Moses to tell the Israelites that “the Lord our God is one Lord”. ( Deuteronomy 6:4 .). There is no other whom we should worship. There is no other creator Father, nor image that can supplant the power of our dear Lord.
In that order of ideas, we also find those words that God said to Moses as a warning: “You must not make a carved image or a form similar to anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth below or that is in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them or be induced to serve them, for I the Lord your God am a God who exacts exclusive devotion ” ( Exodus 20:2-5 ).
God is the creator of heaven and earth
The true God is the creator, the one who was forced, was everything, even when nothing existed. No other could have done such a job, to give his children, also His creation, a place over which they would have dominion. “Only you are the LORD. You made the heavens, the heavens of heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is in it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them and the host of heaven bows down before you.” (Nehemiah 9:6).
Regarding this, we must be clear that God is the owner and only Being with authority over everything that surrounds us. He is the one who governs and manages the seas, the rivers, the skies with their birds, the mountains and their trees. Everything so that we have a place to live and prevail according to his will. That is his identity, the Lord is a creator by nature. A living entity in everything that surrounds us.

With God, Nothing Is Impossible Explanation
God of true power
The first manifestation that demonstrates the great Power of our Lord is creation. Because what was invisible could only be glimpsed through the feat of God, of giving light to what was submerged in non-existence. We find ourselves in our Bible with a verse that reveals to us with amplitude, how exalted is the greatness of God, and we can only see it in his work. In Jeremiah 32:17 we see the following expression “O Lord Jehovah! Behold, you made heaven and earth by your mighty power and by your outstretched arm, nor is there anything difficult for you!”
Throughout the texts that make up our Holy Bible, we find many manifestations of the great power of God. One of those is when He freed Israel from the ignominious clutches of Egypt, faced Pharaoh and said with authority: “But I have let you live for this reason: to show you my power and so that my name may be proclaimed throughout the earth. ”. (Exodus 9:16.). Because He is the only one with such splendour to face all the armies that want to harm his people, or exceed the line of his divine authority.
Once again we find the strength of God to make great things out of small things. Something that is second to none. A divine force that man can never match. To delve into this conjecture we have this verse shown in the Holy Scriptures “And Jesus looking at them, he said to them: With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
So, God is not only the only king, the only existing Supreme Being. To the only one we owe the Glory and in whose name we must secure the details. The only one we will praise. Because he is our saviour Father, the beginning and the end, alpha and omega. Furthermore, he is also a creator. His immense power, as immense as the universe, perhaps much more than the universe, which is infinite. And added to this he is a protective Father who lovingly leads his people to be saved from eternal fire.
The true God is the one who rises in our hearts, and who was able to sacrifice his only son to see our sins blotted out. The one who with love opens the doors of his kingdom for all the creatures that inhabit the earth. And his kingdom is full of his greatness, of his deeds that we will not see if we do not follow his path. The path of the true God.
