Here are our morning prayers for Kids We’ll love you to share with your children, so others are encouraged to pray for and with their children.
Mornings prayer can be difficult for mothers, But as a mother who is ready to bring up her children in ways, it is a must.
It can be difficult to love our children well if we start the day frustrated by their slow pace, inability to eat what you made, or unwillingness to follow your instructions (just a few of the common morning frustrations that most parents experience). It can have a huge impact on how our home feels emotionally.
Prayer can be a great way to help them and you! I recommend that you start your morning by asking God for the grace to love your family well. Then, begin your day with family breakfast prayers. The simple act of inviting God into your daily chaos can help you set a better tone.
By sharing your morning prayers with your children, you can show them what it means to follow Jesus every day. This isn’t about adding another thing to your family’s to-do list. It is about making God a priority and getting it done. Here are some prayers that you can use to start your day.
REASON TO TEACH YOUR KIDS HOW TO PRAY
One of the most difficult parts of being a parent is the rapid passing of time. It’s almost as if we just blink and the babies we once held suddenly become running, talking, and wild! It is clear, however, that our ability to control every aspect of our children’s lives is limited. Parents must start at the beginning to think about how they will launch their children into the world. If we don’t plan, time will pass and the window of opportunity will shrink.
As our children grow into independent adults, prayer is one of the best tools we have to help them. Prayer is our direct link to God. God’s word advises us to not be anxious but to bring everything to him in prayer and supplication (Philippians 4:8). In today’s world, it is difficult to not be anxious. We are constantly bombarded with information every day that is beyond our capabilities. This trend will only continue. When life seems overwhelming, our kids need to have safe places to go. Unfortunately, you won’t always find them there.
Prayer is the safest place. They can always turn to Jesus, regardless of what their circumstances are, for help, strength, wisdom, and comfort. This is such comfort for parents to know that their children are not alone, no matter where they go!
Start young with your children and show them how to pray. Make prayer an integral part of your daily life. Prayer is a great time to have a group prayer. Keep your prayers short and simple when they are young so that they understand what you’re doing. As they get older, you can start to pray together more often and ask them to join in the prayer. You can also read a devotional together with prayers written in it if you feel uncomfortable praying. These words can be yours, God doesn’t need original work.

His presence sets me free
Although I may not understand
