Signs of the end of the world in the bible
There are several passages in the Bible that tell us about the different signs that we will see at the end of time. In fact, there is a prophetic book in the Bible, Revelation, that speaks in detail on this subject. In Matthew 24:1-14 Jesus is speaking to his disciples about the signs of the end and there we find a good summary of what to look for. Jesus mentions the ten signs below.
False Teachers, False Christs
Matthew 24:5 speaks of some who will announce that they are the Christ and will deceive many people. That is why it is important to know that when Christ returns, every eye will see him, that it will be something sudden and simultaneous.
Wars and threats of war
There will be many wars, more than we have ever seen. It will be difficult for nations to keep the peace and reach agreements.
Hunger and earthquakes
Hunger will spread everywhere due to wars, the increase in natural disasters (earthquakes, hurricanes), and the effects of mistreatment of nature.
Persecution and hatred of Christians
Many will lose their lives just because they love and serve Jesus. The hatred against the Church will increase and will be very visible in all spheres of society.
Many will abandon the faith
There will be people who will not bear the rejection and hatred against them, so they will prefer to follow other doctrines or currents more accepted by society.
Betrayal and hatred
There will be no loyalty, each one will seek their own welfare and protection even if the price is to betray those closest to them. The hatred will be more than evident.
False prophets that will deceive many
All kinds of doctrines will arise that will attract people and many will accept and follow them.
Great Evil
Evil and unjust actions will spread. There will be a large number of people without scruples or remorse to prevent them from causing harm to others.
Little Love
Hearts will harden, and love and the desire to help or care for others will decrease.
Spread of the gospel throughout the world
The gospel will be preached in every corner of the world. The good news of the gospel will be preached to all ethnic groups around the world, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14).
What will the second coming of Jesus be like?
All will see when Christ returns victorious to seek His Church. At the sound of the trumpet, the dead in Christ will rise, and the living will be caught up.
The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those of us who are alive, those of us who remain, will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
No one knows the exact date this will happen, only God the Father knows the day and hour (Matthew 24:36). The coming of Christ will be totally sudden, “as the lightning that comes from the east is also seen in the west” (Matthew 24:27). That is why it is so important that we have the certainty that Christ is our Lord and Savior, that we have given our lives to Him. Thus, we will await his second coming with joy and not with fear.

Major Messages of Revelation
Due to the complexity of the themes, it is not very easy to point out when one begins and the other ends because they are closely linked. In addition, the symbology that it contains makes it a bit more complex and it is difficult to say that one knows for sure everything that it contains. However, what we can say is that some of the themes are clearly the clearest and most important.
- The role of Jesus
The main protagonist of these revelations is the Lord Jesus Christ as a resurrected being in a perfect and immortal body. This point is obvious from the start. In the first verses of the first chapter of the Apocalypse, specifically from 4 to 8, it is made clear that Jesus will come again, as a faithful and firstborn witness of the resurrection. That by his sacrifice on the cross we are freed from our sins if we accept it. Jesus will return to earth and every eye will see him and it is there that he will judge and come to reign forever. It is clear that the subject that is touched with vehemence is that Jesus Christ will return again. - Messages given to the seven churches
Specifically, chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation contain the letters with words of encouragement, advice, and admonition to the seven churches at that time. Each of the letters to those churches had specific promises preceded by the phrase “he who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Among the messages given to the churches is eternal life (Revelation 2:7), no punishment or eternal death (Revelation 2:11), spiritual nourishment, triumph over sin (Revelation 2:17), authority over the nations, and abundance of light (Revelation 2:26-28), white garments, their names written in the book of life (Revelation 3:5), they will belong to God for all eternity (Revelation 3:12), they will reign with Jesus Christ (Revelation 3: twenty-one). - Heavenly manifestations
In chapters 4 and 5 of Revelation the apostle John explains the vision of God sitting on his throne. The power of God the Father and of Jesus Christ the Son of his Beloved is detailed with greatness. He also expresses beautiful phrases of devotion to God and to Jesus the Lamb, the only worthy being who could only open the scroll with the revelation of the end of time. This is how Revelation 4:8 says Holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, that he was and that he is and that he is to come. - End of the world
All this world chaos will have an end, famine, wars, the collapse of the economy, scarcity, and persecution in the church of the Lamb are some of the signs of the end times. These signs will be confirmed in the last days and will occur at the end of time in a time of tribulations where it will be difficult to survive. You read of a great war called Armageddon, a final battle that will affect the entire world and will be before the final judgment. - The Last Judgment
The Last Judgment is one of the most iconic events in the book of Revelation. The devil will be bound for a thousand years because of his rebellion against God. This event will be after the second coming of Christ and the Millennium. At that time God will judge everyone, whether for his good or bad deeds and whether or not they accepted Christ as their Savior. The guilty will pass into the lake of fire and brimstone as eternal punishment for their rebellion against God. Rather, those who received and submitted to his power will dwell with him for all eternity. - Paradise
The book of Revelation, chapter 21, describes new earth, a new Jerusalem. The earth will be restored and receive its heavenly glory, there will be no more of the planet we know as we see it, everything will be renewed. Sin will no longer be on earth, there will be no more pain, no more death, no more hunger, and all anguish will cease. Everything will be peaceful and in the presence of God. Revelation 21:1 describes it when he describes a new heaven and new earth because the first heaven and the first earth had ceased to exist, like the sea. - Christ will reign on earth
Christ will personally reign on earth and will reign for all eternity. In the last chapter of Revelation, He declares that Christ will return but this time to be King forever. All evil will cease and Jesus Christ will reward those who loved him and kept his commandments, those who persevered in faith and were faithful despite the trials of life. Revelation 22: 12-13 explains that the Lord will reward his children according to what they have done and says at the end that he is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end.
