Spread the love

Jesus is the hope in the midst of the difficult circumstances that any person on earth can experience since through his sacrifice on the cross he managed to bring salvation in all areas of earthly and spiritual life.

That is why all believers must understand that it is through Jesus that you can have a life full of blessing because he is the Savior of all humanity and through him, a life full of life, abundance, and health is achieved. , freedom, peace, prosperity and many more blessings.

Reasons Jesus is the hope of the world

The Almighty God, in search of saving all humanity, sent his only- begotten son to give life, to heal, to give complete salvation to all his own, and that is why we must acclaim him for what he is the Savior of the world.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)

It is for this reason that there are several reasons why Jesus is the only hope in people’s lives:

Jesus has come to save his own

In many moments it was possible to see that Jesus demonstrated his mission on earth, and in one case he crossed the Sea of Galilee, and in that sea that used to have times of storms, He calmed the storm with his voice, that is why He he wasted no time in fulfilling his purpose of coming to seek and save his own.

And there are several moments that Jesus approached people who could have been rejected, but He was able to make them repent of their steps and make them know the way to salvation, as happened with Zacchaeus.

“Then Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will return it quadrupled. Jesus said to him: Today salvation has come to this house; because he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:8-10).

With Jesus, people’s lives are filled with joy and hope

In the Gospel of Luke, it is seen how the people received him with joy because through him many were healed of various diseases and many had been freed from demons.

“The next day, large crowds who had come to the party, hearing that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took palm branches and went out to meet him, crying: Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!” (John 13:12-13)

All this shows how people could be joyful, and with encouragement in their hearts, because the sick could have hope because in their midst was a powerful one to heal them, to free them to restore them, and they could go to Him knowing that He would save them.

Jesus is no respecter of persons

Seeing Jesus, and knowing the mercy with which he approached people, they could know that everyone could turn to Him, regardless of their social class, their level of knowledge, or how mature or scarce their faith was, because everyone had heard of him, of his wonderful deeds, of his great authority and doctrine, therefore everyone could approach him because he received them without reservations.

Mark 10:46-52
“Then they came to Jericho; And as he and his disciples and a large crowd left Jericho, blind Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, sat by the roadside begging. And hearing that he was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say: Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!And many rebuked him to be silent, but he cried out much more: Son of David, have mercy on me! Then Jesus, stopping, sent for him; and they called the blind man, saying to him: Have confidence; get up, it calls you.

He then, throwing off his cloak, got up and came to Jesus. Jesus answered, and he said to him: What do you want me to do for you? And the blind man said to him: Teacher, let him recover his sight. And Jesus said to him: Go, your faith has saved you. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus on the way.”

bible scriptures about hope in hard times

In this sense, Jesus is the one who has come to humanity, for this reason now, they can go to Him, that is, place their faith in Him, as that Savior who frees them from sin every day and for eternity, as that Lord and owner of everything, to whom you must surrender completely in all areas of your life.

Jesus is with us

Jesus Christ is hope because he is with all those who believe in his name, he has come to always be with his people, and therefore he has manifested himself as the representation of God who is always present and fully knows the condition of his people, and how he manifests himself in relation to his people.

John 14:11-14
“Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; otherwise, believe me for the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and even greater he will do, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask of the Father in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will”

You can cry out to Jesus

Jesus has the power to help those who need it, He is the one who can cover the need they have because He already knows it and because He has all the power to act on their behalf. And that is why you must cry out to Him with absolute confidence. How did these cases happen?

  • Jairus’ daughter was dying, and there was no time to take her to more doctors or specialized centres if there were any, there was no one else who could help, only divine intervention could stop the fatal outcome that would come to this girl, whom Jairo tenderly loved her, even at 12 years old, she was her little daughter, and her death would cause great sadness and deep pain to her parents, for which Jesus helped them. (Mark 5:21-43)
  • The woman who interrupted Jesus’ walk to Jairus’s house had been suffering from a disease for 12 years that no treatment had been able to cure, all her investment was gone, there was nothing else to do, and there really was no hope other than the hand of God to heal her, but she had heard of Jesus, and touched the hem of his garment and received healing. (Mark 5:21-43)

It can be said that it is through Jesus that humanity has salvation in every aspect of its life, and that is why all believers can see that they must be grateful, and know that in the midst of anguish or affliction they must trust because He overcame the world.

“These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have affliction, but take heart, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33)
