Spread the love

Being fooled by someone you love is a universal human experience.

Love and trust are two feelings that are often intertwined. In fact, the word “trust” is defined as “a confident belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something”

The idea of being fooled by someone you love may be a universal human experience but it is an experience that is not easily forgotten.

Being fooled by someone you love can be a painful and difficult experience. It can make us question our judgment and it can shake our confidence in who we are as people. For many people, this type of betrayal can have long-term effects on their self-esteem and mental health.

What does the Bible say about fools?

A fool is someone who is ignorant, irrational, and lacking in judgment. The truth is unappealing to fools. They chuckle at the truth while averting their gaze from it. Fools believe they are wise in their own eyes, yet they fail to accept wisdom and advice, which is their demise. Their unrighteousness suppresses the truth.
They have wickedness in their hearts, are sluggish and proud, slander others, and live in a cycle of folly. For a fool, living in sin is enjoyable.
It’s not a good idea to want their companionship since they’ll take you down a dangerous path. Fools rush towards danger without careful planning or consideration of the repercussions.

People are kept from being foolish by Scripture, but fools disdain God’s Word. The KJV, ESV, NIV, and other Bible translations are among the texts on fools.

Christian quotes about fools

“The Christian Right stands now at a crossroads. Our choices are these: Either we can play the game and enjoy the honor that comes from being players in the political arena, or we can become fools for Christ. Either we will ignore the silent screams of the unborn so that we might be heard, or we will identify with the suffering and speak for those who are silenced. In short, either we will speak for the least of these, or we will continue to sell our souls for a mess of political pottage.” R.C. Sproul Jr.

Proverbs: Fools despise wisdom

Teaching fools!

1. Proverbs 18:2-3 Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions. Doing wrong leads to disgrace, and scandalous behavior brings contempt.

2. Proverbs 1:5-7 Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

3. Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

4. Psalm 92:5-6 “How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep! 6 The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this.”

5. Psalm 107:17 “Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.”
