Prayer to open service

Good and eternal God, Most High Lord!
I praise you because you are Just, Holy and worthy of all supreme praise and adoration. Father, thank you for your great love and mercy, on this wonderful day of service I want to thank you once again because you gave me the strength to overcome obstacles, and setbacks and be here to receive what you have for my life. I ask you to pour out your glorious Holy Spirit on this place and that the lives of my pastors may be used by you. I ask you to prepare my mind and my heart to give you my best offering of adoration and gratitude, raising my hands to heaven as a sign of dependence on you. With humility of heart, I will give the best service to my brothers with joy and happiness, stripping myself of criticism and complaint, doing all things as for you and not for men, because from you I will receive the reward. Lord Jesus, on this day of service, help me to fulfil my responsibilities, practicing obedience through my authorities, and make me understand that serving others is certainly part of your purpose in my life. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
