What are the easy ways to pray more as a Christian or a believer.
In 1 Chronicle 16:11, believers are admonished to pray more,  it read  “Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.”1 Chronicles 16:11.

Knowing this, the question becomes -how do I pray more?

How do I find time in my busy schedule to make time and talk to God?

Most of us have these challenges and hence,  struggle with having a consistent prayer life. If you struggle, here are some simple options and easy ways to pray more.

13 Easy Ways to Pray More

1. Set a focus for each day’s prayer.

For example, you might use today to pray for your family, followed by praying for neighbors tomorrow. Don’t wonder what you’ll pray about each day—plan for it.

2. Establish five minutes each hour to pray.

Everyone I know can find five minutes. It’s just that we don’t wisely think about what we’ll do with the five minutes.

3. Pray Consistently in any place (like a school, a mosque, another church).

Let these places trigger you into prayer. Pray especially that the people involved in each place would know Jesus as Savior and Lord.

4. Pray as you read the Word.

Respond to each text that points out sin or gives a promise. Tell God about things you don’t understand. Let your Bible reading become dialogical.

5. Set a time and be disciplined yourself

Luke 5:16 tells us that “He (Jesus) would often slip away to the wilderness to pray.” This means it is not enough to say a few words of prayer whenever you can. Sometimes, you have to be deliberate about making time for God. You do
this is by setting a date or time and sticking to it.

6. Pray the Acts pattern.

If you don’t know that pattern, it’s praying this way: Adoration (praise) about who God is, Confession of your sin, Thanksgiving for God’s blessings, and Supplication (intercession) for others.

7. Find a prayer buddy

Sometimes we need people to hold us accountable which is why you should have a prayer buddy. A person to pray with, for, and who reminds you to pray.

8. Pray as you drive.

You can have a strong conversation with God while you’re driving someplace. Take advantage of that opportunity.

9.  Create a prayer space

Anyone who has seen the movie ‘War Room’ knows the importance of having a quiet place to seek God’s face. We recommend making a space in your house that is away from distractions and gives you the quiet you need to connect with your Heavenly Father. Check out the video below to see what we are talking about.

10. Pray for your family each day.

You’d think this one is automatic, but I’m learning that it’s not. Many believers don’t even pray this way.

11. Spend Time praying for non-believers.

If you don’t know any non-believers, pray for people you know, but whose spiritual condition you don’t know. Pray they will know Jesus.

12. Pray for your neighborhood.

Pray for each home, asking God to make that home a “lighthouse” of light in a local community.

13. Just open your heart to God and tell Him what you’re thinking.

He won’t be surprised—and He wants us to trust Him with our emotions, anger, etc.

Conclusion:
Prayer, the ability to reach out to God and hear from Him, is one of the greatest gifts we have. It’s even better because we know He wants to hear from us, His children.
1 John 5:14  “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his
will, he hears us.”
with this in heart, why wouldn’t you want to pray more?
