Where the Spirit of God is, there is freedom. In this chapter of 2 Corinthians, he shows us how that veil that does not allow us to see, only the Holy Spirit can put it aside.
“14 But their understanding was dull; because to this day, when they read the old covenant, they still have the same undiscovered veil, which Christ removes.
15 And even to this day, when Moses is read, the veil is placed over their hearts.
16 But when they turn to the Lord, the veil will be removed.
The Spirit gives us freedom
17 For the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 Therefore we all, beholding with an unveiled face as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

There are many occasions in which the Bible speaks about the veil. For example, Moses said that he put on a cover after being in the presence of God.
Also, in the new testament with the death of Jesus, it says that the veil of the temple was torn, there are several passages where the veil is named, but today we talk about what the spiritual covering is.
The spiritual veil is what prevents those with hardened hearts and dull understanding from hearing and seeing.
Through Jesus, the veil fell.
That is why it says that the same veil remains although they read. They cannot see or understand, but because of Christ, it is removed. It is only through Jesus that the veil is torn and falls.
In verse 16, he gives us the promise and the reassurance that when they turn to the Lord, that veil will be removed.
There are processes.
Perhaps today you are praying for a family member, for your children or spouse, and maybe you talk to them, and they don’t want anything, or they don’t listen to you, some people don’t even let us talk to them about our Lord.
And we ask ourselves why, or how I can understand something that I read in the word of God and perhaps the same text if you read it to someone who has not yet been converted cannot understand it.
The first thing is to convert, and to convert, you have to be born again, and they are processes that go together.
When we give our hearts to the Lord, we are born again, and we are processed by God in this conversion process of turning from our ways.
Converting is that it is turning, it is turning around, it is a new start, after that new birth and beginning to learn to live in absolute dependence on our God.
When God enters, the Spirit sets you free.
And it is at that moment, when we are born again and converted, that the veil falls.
What we did not see before, we now see, what we did not want to do before, now we run to do it if it was difficult for us to pray, now we want to be in the presence of the Lord.
This is because we have experienced and known it in a way that we have never known before.
It is that where the Spirit of God is, there is freedom, and you are going to feel that freedom.
He is the one who makes you free from your addictions, from the chains of oppression, or from what the enemy has convinced you for years that you were. God gives you freedom.
He will process you until he sees himself reflected in you.
And God is going to work in you, and he will do it in such a way that, as if you were looking at yourself in a mirror, you will see the finished work of God in you, and He will be able to see himself in that reflection.
The Holy Spirit will remove the veil, give you freedom, and process you, to become the image of God on earth.
We are made in the image and likeness of God. There is no other beings created by God, which the Bible tells us has been created in his image and likeness, only the human being.
And you can tell me, how can it be then that there is so much evil in the world and how is it that there are so many bad people.
I must answer you that this is the product of sin in our lives, and we are already born with the inheritance of sin. No matter how beautiful we are like babies, we are born in sin.
But He did not plan that for us, but our blessing was always in his plans.
And despite our disobedience and our sin, he sent Jesus to draw us close again and give us the possibility of being what we were created to be.
Conclusion:
If you feel tied to some sin or your character, or you are praying for a loved one, and you still have not been able to overcome, do not be discouraged; God is at work. Let him treat your heart, and the veil falls, the Holy Spirit works.
Where the Spirit of God is, there is freedom, and the day will come for you and your loved ones, that as in a mirror, you will be able to see the reflection of God in your life.
