Failure is never the result of chance or fate, and it is usually the culmination of a process fueled by bad habits. When these settle permanently in our daily lives, it is only a matter of time to see failure manifest itself in various forms. This article invites you to discover three habits that make the bed to failure in our lives.

1.The lack of meditation on the Word

Joshua 1:8 (KJV) “Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, to act faithfully according to all that is written therein; because it is then that you will be successful in your undertakings, it is then that you will succeed.

On reading this verse, we realize that success according to God is attached to the respect of the recommendations made through the Word of God, in particular the reading and regular meditation of it. Failure to obey His guidance can result in failure.

Failure is obviously the opposite of success, and it is a fact of not succeeding or not getting something.

When God asks you not to stray from this book of the law that is the Bible, it is because He knows that inside you will find everything you need to succeed in your businesses. , but also in your Christian life. Thus, the non-application of this recommendation will expose you to failure.

God knows your life better than you know yourself, and one of the ways He helps you live successfully is His Word (the Bible). You will receive the keys from Him so as not to leave room for permanent failure in your life. So if you don’t have an intimacy with your creator and if you don’t meditate on His Word, He won’t be able to reveal to you the mysteries that will help you live success.

Christ accomplished everything for you through His sacrifice on the cross. But if you don’t have a life of constant prayer and meditation. On the other hand, don’t think that failure to meditate on the Word is the only factor that leads to failure!

2. Giving Room To Fear

Fear can also be a factor in failure.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV) “The Lord Himself will go before you, He Himself will be with you, He will not leave you, He will not forsake you; do not be afraid, and do not be dismayed.

According to the dictionary Le Robert, fear is an emotion that accompanies the awareness of danger, a threat. Sometimes faced with this emotion, we find ourselves unable to move forward or do something we should have done. It can lead to failure insofar as it prevents you from moving forward.

It is not in vain that the Lord encouraged Joshua through the mouth of Moses, telling him that He Himself would walk before these people, that He would not abandon them.

Indeed, the people feared experiencing failure in the face of all that awaited them further. He, therefore, adopted this attitude which led to failure. So God’s directing Joshua made him feel secure.

3. Maintaining laziness daily

Proverbs 19:15 (KJV) “Idleness makes one fall into drowsiness, and the listless soul experiences hunger.

When you experience failure, there is something that has not been done correctly. Let’s take the example of studies: to go to a higher level and succeed in your school year, you have to work. If you ever say to yourself, I will have the average to go to the next class, but behind that, you don’t practice, you don’t study your lessons, can you really succeed in these conditions? I do not think so! You will fail brilliantly because you will not have had the reflex to get to work, and by giving way, laziness, negligence, procrastination, and failure will occur in your life.

Should we give up because we have failed several times?

Will we manage to do it? … What would you say to me? Not to question our course only on the quantity of our failures. Chess is “practical” learning of the theory that we have been taught or transmitted to us in our daily lives. However, this does not mean that you have to give up, but rather that you have to know how to show wisdom and discernment in order to understand when you have to persevere or give up after several failures.

Failure is our greatest learning.

Proverbs 24:16 (KJV) “For seven times the righteous fall, and he gets up again…”

And yes! We will never say it enough! Failure = learning. We all have goals, dreams, or a destiny that we want to achieve, and quite often, failures appear along the way. What makes us doubt and give up at times is essential to discern each element of our journey to know when to continue or give up. Sometimes, our determination and our fighting spirit are put to the test, but that’s not a reason to give up.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; recognize Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight.

It is therefore essential not to give up at the slightest opportunity, whether in the face of an accumulation of failures or in the face of obstacles; but it is more judicious (and essential!) to seek the voice and the strength of our Dad, in order to move forward with wisdom and discernment whatever the case.

Why wisdom and discernment? Because moving forward despite failures, is okay, but there are some conditions to respect and some situations to analyze so as not to confuse determination and stubbornness.

We must always make sure that we are in agreement with the promises of God for our life; it lets us know if these failures are a warning or if we are fulfilling His purpose for us.

Being transparent with God’s plans for us allows us not to be confused and unsettled by the moment’s circumstances but to remain focused on our Father’s words for us. This is how He can strengthen us in any situation.

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Yes to Perseverance and determination

Hebrews 10:36 (KJV) “For you need patience, that after having done the will of God, you may obtain what is promised to you.

Persevering despite setbacks is a fact; however, it is essential to be aware of our Father’s destiny in store for us. We never know exactly where God wants to lead us, but if we listen to His Word, we will be able to discern what is a failure in the test of what is a failure to warn us of a bad path taken.

Having the necessary discernment allows us not to be stubborn after several failures and to know how to recognize a warning from God when necessary.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) “We also know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

So my friend, before asking ourselves whether or not to give up in the face of repetitive failures, let us first ask ourselves if we are doing the will of our Father in our actions, and the answer to our failures will come from there.
